PULSe @ FOTONICA 2018, the 20th Italian Conference on Photonic Technologies

Reseachers from PULSe team  have presented the outcomes of the PULSe project at FOTONICA 2018 conference and exhibition in Lecce, Italy, May 23-25 2018.

FOTONICA is the 20th Italian National Conference on Photonic Technologies. The Conference is the meeting place of the Italian Photonic Community where the most advanced achievements of research in photonics are presented and discussed. The Conference covers all aspects of photonics, with a particular emphasis on applications in several fields, including telecom, sensors, energy saving, lighting and health.

The results presented at FOTONICA 2018 included details on the laser source as well as on Brillouin distributed fiber sensing measurements using the BOTDA distributed sensor developed in PULSe,

FOTONICA 2018 is aimed at an audience of professionals active in photonics, including researchers, manufacturers and technology users, as well as analysts and investors interested in this Sector.

PULSe sensor presented at the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics CLEO 2018

Scientists of PULSe consortium will participate to the Conference on Laser and Electro-Optics (CLEO, May 5-10 2018), the most important academic and industrial forum on lasers science to photonic applications. Results of PULSe project developments will be shown at the San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, California, USA, located in the heart of the Silicon Valley.

With comprehensive, peer-reviewed technical sessions and market-focused programming, CLEO is the world’s premier international forum to learn about innovative advances, research and new technologies from the laser science industry.
